By working hard together, our small steps will build your path to the future. The Lord is my Shepherd...he guides me along the right paths" Psalm 23
Church Service

Church Service

We started term with our traditional Christingle service last week at Church. All the children attended and it was also lovely to see our pre-school children attend.

Thank you to the Captain of the Tower who led our older pupils in the bell ringing and also to Paul Cheater for playing the organ during our hymns. The children sang We Three Kings and Shine Jesus Shine beautifully. Several pupils then read passages from both the Old Testament and New Testament as well as helping the Vicar create a Christingle for each class. After learning about the symbolism behind each element of the Christingle, the children then each made their own to take home in school later that day.

On the 11th of November, at 11am, the school and pre-school assembled on the front lawn, to hold a short service to commemorate the fallen. Eggardon read poems and the younger children laid wreaths they had made at the feet of two silhouettes – a nurse and a soldier.  Thank you to all the children… Continue Reading
